I redesigned Artists Magazine around the theme of "How to Live an Artful Life". The look: accessible, aspirational, modern, bold, classic and timeless. I concepted and designed monthly covers- featuring commissioned original artworks-as well as designed all pages in the magazine.

I commissioned still product photography for the article and also had the photography create a stop motion video for web and social, using the products.

I redesigned Worth magazine - targeted to leaders across business, finance, tech, innovation and society - around the tagline “Worth: Beyond Wealth.” I designed all covers and interior pages for the monthly magazine, hired and art directed illustrators, photographers and freelancers, and provided web-optimized visuals.

I designed several monthly luxury magazines covering lifestyle, fashion, art, culture, beauty, watches, automotives, and travel. In addition to layout, I hired and art directed illustrators, freelancer designers, and art-directed in-house designers.

Designed feature pages and covers across fashion, beauty, home, food, travel, and entertainment sections for New Zealand’s largest daily newspaper and its weekly magazines. I redesigned an award-winning Travel section that won the 2006 Qantas Media Award for Best Travel Section.

Cover concept and design for the weekly TV guide e.g. I drew palmistry lines and TV show names on my hand and directed a staff photographer on how to shoot the image, to convey the idea of telling fortunes.

Launched the U.S. edition of BurdaStyle magazine (4M+ monthly readership across 99 countries) and extended the brand to books, web, and more.

I've designed and art directed fully illustrated books for visual artists, crafters, and general lifestyle books. Imprints include: Interweave Books, North Light Books, IMPACT, Adams Media and self-publishers.
